Bal Bhavan celebrated its Annual day with a series of songs, dances and mythological dramas on 9 April.

The program was conducted under the supervision of Smt. K Swarnalatha Rao, President Tanvi Sangam and Smt. Sujata Das, Incharge of Bal Bhavan.

The event began with chief guests, Shri B.B. Tripathy, ex-GM(OS), ER-II NTPC and Smt. Supriya Tripathy lighting the lamp, along with Shri. K Srinivasa Rao, Executive Director, NTPC Kaniha.

The children of Bal Bhavan enthralled the audience beginning with a traditional, classical dance, followed by a mythological play based on Lord Shri Krishna, called “Manoharam”.

The gigantic LED screen placed in the background, as well as the use of life sized props added a zing to the performance by the tiny tots.

Shri Vijay Goel, GM(O&M), Shri Rajendranath Das, GM(Project), Shri H.N. Chakraborty, GM(Maintenance), Shri Y M Muralikrishna, GM(Operation), Shri Prem Chand, GM(HR) and other senior officials were also present at the event.

The programs were applauded by all and received an ovation by the audience.
